Spare Change Anyone?

I am frustrated! I have a subscription at WP Beginners, a word press site that explains how to do almost all of the things I don’t seem to know. The lessons are straight forward, and written in plain English, which happens to be the language I mostly understand.

My frustration comes in the form of not being able to institute any of those lessons, as I have a free site and most of the fixes actually require me to pay for a proper website. Nearly all of the lessons suggest I add various plugins, to enhance the blog.

The problem with that is I can’t afford it. I am partially disabled, on SSI and have a fixed income. Great choice of words, fixed income, because the truth is my income is broke! At least I am. I will get into that in another article.

I can’t beg for money, I’m just not that kind of boy. I also can’t put a cup or jar by the door for you to put spare change into, as I need a plugin for that too. I sweep this site out every day, looking for the change you lose when you pull your smartphone out of your pocket, but alas 3 pennies and a dime does not a fortune make.

Sorry about crying in my beer ( actually I don’t drink beer ) and getting you all wet with my tears. Wah wah… Hey I did that just fine. I welcome comments, answers, paychecks, and coffee w/ cream and sugar. Please feel free to leave all of your jewelery on the table by the door when you exit. And Thank you in advance…..

Blogging For Bucks

I tried Internet Marketing, in a very poor fashion a couple of years ago.  I am not a salesman.  I found that out when I was a kid.  I couldn’t sell anyone Green Thumb Lawn Service, even when their lawn looked like crap!

I couldn’t sell a convict a set of keys to handcuffs, let alone market crud that no one seems to want.  I affiliated with various companies that supposedly sold reputable goods, and never saw a dime.  I advertised, put up Adsense, tried to entice people to look at my wares, and accomplished absolutely nothing.  Well actually I probably wrecked my reputation.

Even so, I still click on some of those ads that suggest I can make money by doing a particular thing. I know there are scammers out there, and folks that aren’t scamming but don’t really know what the product is.

I have a computer full of neat stuff promising to make me anywhere from $ 23 – $1000 per day. Cash Cows, Money Bots, Secret Software, Reports, Tips, Ebooks, Video, and charts with graphs, pictures, instructions, and most of it seems to be garbage.

Now there’s Blogging For Bucks, and if you can set up a blog, and figure out a paying ” Niche”.  You   can proclaim your expertise in your field, and get everybody to come by and spend their money at your site.  It could happen!

It never happened for me but that’s because I don’t know what I’m doing in any meaning of the words.  I can hardly make a post, let alone be able to sell you the keys to the cuffs that bind us.  Yet I still collect ideas and promises of Making Money On The Internet.

So you ask, how does this relate to the title of this article?  Blogging tips.  Do’s and don’ts of blogging.  Blogging tips, how to monetize your blog, and more tips on how to blog and let others provide you with content, and all of those types of ideas.  Lazy Blogging 101.

Here are some ebooks if you are interested.  They are free and can be downloaded, or you can read them right here at my place.  If you are gonna stay please don’t drink all the coffee, because I am coming right back, and I really need it.  I’ll see you in a couple of hours, so wait around for me!

What Is The Truth?

I’ve been working on another article for the blog and have run into a little snag. The subject is controversial and all of the information I gather is contradictory. Out of 20 sites I’ve looked at to get facts, half of them say one thing and the other half say the opposite. So which view should I present to my audience? Obviously I’ll have to show all of the arguments, and write an inconclusive article.
What is the truth? In this era of instant communications, and live feeds, one would expect there to be a true zone. Unfortunately there are just too many factors to get to the bottom of many issues. Both sides of an argument have lobbyists, that are paid to present an argument in their point of view. On this issue there has been a dramatic increase in the number of lobbyists, trying to persuade our elected officials on how they should vote.
The article I had hoped to bring before you is of a scientific nature, and in fact relates to nature. Would the truth be too devastating to our economy, or to our politicians, to be publicly spoken? If something might hurt our civilization, is it worth money, jobs, lifestyles or our personal integrity to keep hidden from the general population?
The subject I hoped to write about could very well change the course of our civilization. Those changes would affect everything we do. It would affect our jobs, our lifestyles, our economy, our ability to have what we want, and possibly our ability to survive. We are a greedy race (humanity) and want as much of everything as we’re allowed to have.
Isn’t truth more important than all of the things I just mentioned? Wouldn’t you rather know the truth of a subject, than doom your children to a future they might not survive? Is hiding the truth more important than giving our progeny a chance to live, somewhat as we do?
In this push button world we now live in, many people have no survival skills. If truths are hidden from mankind so our economies can go the way they are, will it be worth the price our children and their children will have to pay? Unfortunately, we are greedy and don’t want to give up any of the luxuries we’ve become dependent upon and enjoy. I find myself hoping our grandchildren will be able to live a life with all of the modern comforts we currently have.

$$$ Big Time Online $$$

So, what’s this? I didn’t want to do another piece on the subject of making money on the internet, but it just keeps getting in the way. I have e-books that give ideas (proven methods) that tell me where to go and what to do. I have people who do the same thing, but it isn’t about making money online. I digress, sorry.
unfortunately I’m no technical wizard and can barely make a post on my blog. Almost everything online takes a fair amount of smarts, except maybe clicking on ads or commenting on websites. apparently a person could make money doing those things too.
I had a website for a couple of years, but I ended up moving and didn’t have easy access to the internet. I wasn’t able to work with the site, and it was going to cost more money to keep the thing going. I had thought putting ad words on it might help pay for its hosting, but that didn’t pan out.
So my experiences with the big w.w.w. have only made money for the internet. If a person has the smarts to do more technical things than just hunt and peck at the keyboard, there are about fifty things you can do to make money in cyber-space. I just don’t seem to have what it takes.
I think I can write, at least good enough that I can get a point across, but that doesn’t help much. I don’t consider myself an expert at anything. I lived off grid and can tell you how caveman did stuff, but most people couldn’t care less. Yet that is probably where my expertise is. Great niche, don’t you think?
“THE HARD WAY  COMPANY” Everything I’ve ever had to do , usually required me to do it the hard way. That will be true for trying to pay the bills from online. If you’re looking for that golden egg to land at your feet, here’s some things you can try.
1. Forum Posting 11. Become a website or domain broker
2. Forum Moderator 12. Start A Forum Posting Website
3. Article writing 13. Referral Exchange Programs
4. Become A Blogger 14. Buying and selling links

22. Submit links to Social Bookmarking sites on other’s behalf
23. Take up part-time Data Entry jobs

So here are 25 ways to make money online that might work for you. I could tell you where to go and what to do, but if I save that info, I can write that out to you another time, ensuring I have a future post. Some of these possible money-making ideas won’t pay very much, and you may have to use two or three of these ideas to make enough to warrant doing.
I have another list with 75 more items on it that I’ll bring to you later, and even tell you what to do, or how to do it. Until then, I hope you find whatever you’re looking for and good luck with all of your endeavors.

Making Money On The Internet

Almost anywhere a person goes on the internet, we are besieged with ads inviting us to make money on the internet. There must be 10,000 systems a person can use, some as easy as 1 click and go to the bank. Of course there’s no such thing as free money, but wishful thinking, and lack of common sense prompt many people to check these different systems out.
When I first started playing on the web, I found myself sucked right into this trap. We all want as much as we can have for as little as we can get away with giving. I fell victim to all the hype, and I know I am not the only one that clicks on ” FREE ” offers. Everyone wants free stuff, and offers of promises to make money easily without having to do anything for it is just too tempting to forgo.

The above screen shot is an ad describing 30 ways to make money on the internet. They might work for you, or you may decide it’s too much work for what you’ll actually make. Surveys, clicking ads, visiting websites all require more than 1 click and you’re rich. Many sites expect you to try products at a cost, including shipping and handling, and many times those products are not cheap.
The easiest way to make money online is to have a website, and a real product that people want. People want so many things it should be easy to sell products, services, ad space and anything else you can think of. We all have to remember there are no FREE rides. To be wealthy will require work and persistence. And of course, hard work and persistence won’t guarantee you’ll make money on the web.
