Scott lost everything — his farm, his home, his savings. The stress attacked his heart, on top of the Parkinson’s disease he already had. All because of one giant corporation: Monsanto.
Every year, Monsanto uses a team of 75 lawyers to attack food safety and small farmers like Scott. Most farmers’ only “crime”? Reusing seeds from the year before. And now this greedy corporation — the maker of Agent Orange, no less — is even fighting labeling attempts, preventing consumers from making up their own minds about what to buy.
The FDA has the power to enforce labeling and protect our health — but not if Monsanto gets its way.
Over 2 million people from across the globe have spoken out against genetically modified seeds (GMOs) and Monsanto’s dirty tactics over the past year. Will you join this powerful grassroots movement and tell our government to put our health and environment before Monsanto’s corporate profits?
Tell the FDA it’s past time for Americans to know what corporations like Monsanto are hiding in our foods. Label GMOs now!
Monsanto — the inventor of toxic chemicals we all know, like Agent Orange, DDT, and PCBs — is now looking to dominate our food system with genetically modified seeds like corn, soybeans, and wheat.
Their GMO sweet corn, which has flooded into grocery stores across the country, has been engineered to withstand their own Roundup herbicide. But a study found that Monsanto’s corn can cause cancer and organ failure in lab rats. Despite the potential dangers of GMO foods, Monsanto continues to fight labeling attempts, preventing consumers from making up their own minds about what to buy.
61 countries now label GMO foods, including the entire European Union and China. Americans deserve the same right to know what’s in our food!
Tell the FDA to label GMO foods and give us the power to decide whether to buy these risky, unnatural foods!
Monsanto will stop at nothing to stay on top. It’s no surprise that it would dump millions of dollars into campaigns across the country to crush grassroots efforts to label GMO products. In Washington state alone, they’ve spent $4.7 million in an attempt to defeat a statewide labeling bill.
Time and time again, Monsanto claims their GMOs are safe. Trust us, they say. Well, we heard the same arguments from the tobacco industry and we see how that turned out. What’s wrong with letting consumers make their own choices about what food they will purchase?
Monsanto may have the money, but we have something stronger — a powerful grassroots movement made up of folks just like you. Tell the FDA to stand with us by requiring the labeling of all GMO foods!
In it together,
61 countries now label genetically modified foods (GMOs), including the entire European Union and China. Americans deserve the same right to know what’s in our food!

I just sent a message to the FDA — you should too! Check it out here: http://action.sierraclub.org/GMO_NO
